In 2002, Peter Griffin retired from the San Diego Police Department after twenty-seven years of service, twenty-three of which were as a detective in various units and divisions including, but not limited to, vice, narcotics, homicide, and robbery.

Mr. Griffin was also a member of the San Diego SWAT unit, a field of training officer and an instructor at the San Diego Police Department Academy during his employment with the San Diego Police Department. Upon retirement, Mr. Griffin established a private investigation firm licensed by the State of California (California PI License #23286), with a focus on criminal and civil investigations in San Diego.

Prior to becoming a San Diego Police Officer, Mr. Griffin graduated from Holy Cross College and Subsequently obtained his juris doctorate degree from Fordham Law School. Mr. Griffin is admitted to practice law in the State of New York (NY Bar#2494789).
