Man in SDSU drug sweep gets three years in prison

SAN DIEGO COURTS: A 37-year-old man arrested in connection with a massive drug sweep at San Diego State University was sentenced yesterday to three years in prison.

Omar Castaneda pleaded guilty in San Diego Superior Court to possession of a controlled substance for sale. Two allegations against Castaneda, accusing him of having more than a kilogram of cocaine and a prior prison conviction, were dismissed.
